Salma Hayek has spoken out about her impending motherhood, and the unfair expectations heaped upon women.Speaking to Maria Claire magazine, the Hollywood actress hit out at how she felt women were expected to do it all before they are deemed as a success. “Society thinks if you don't have children, you've failed as a woman, even if you are chief executive officer of a company.”Hayek continued that there was too much pressure on woman today: “You've got to be beautiful, smart, skinny, tall, rich, successful at your job, married to the right guy and have genius children. And by the way, you also have to be a nun,” she added. As well as her success on the big screen, Hayek is also executive producer on the hit US comedy Ugly Betty, following the fortunes of Betty Suarez, a Latino girl trying to make it in the fashion industry. Salma said that before her and Jennifer Lopez, Latino women only played "the maid or the prostitute" but "we changed that".Hayek is engaged to fashion tycoon Francois-Henri Pinault and is expecting her first child with the multi-millionaire.
